How I Lost 230 lbs or Shar Pei Puppies Rule!

Someone i care too much about has requested an "info-net-mercial" of sorts from me on how i lost 230 lbs.. So i'm going to (Swing low, sweet chariot) share my experience, strength, and hope with anyone who is ready. ONCE! There, i said it. The following are in chaotic order:
  • Eat whatever you want, there is no magic formula of expensive foods.
  • Cutting the portions in an entire HALF was too much for me, i started by cutting off the first BITE (this is significant) of food and tossing it, then finishing my meal. I built up from there to half portions, then "Normie" sized portions.
  • Eat slowly. This is one of the most important factors in losing weight and keeping it off.
  • Get up off your ass. I didn't start any type of exercise until i was down to 200 lbs., but you can walk around inside your house if your too embarrased to go outside. Just move.
  • DO NOT DEPRIVE YOURSELF OF WHAT YOU LOVE. YOU WILL FAIL EVENTUALLY IF YOU DO.
  • Be willing to feel discomfort. You will feel discomfort, weight loss is impossible without it. No one has ever perished from discomfort. Obesity however, is terminal.
  • Ask the Universe, collective unconscious, God, something that's bigger and badder than you to take charge of your eating, and the emotions connected to eating.
  • Do not tell people you are going on a diet. Just make a decision not to be a fat person any more, and be willing to change everything about your life that's making you one.
The truth here is this:
The world does not, nor will they ever shine favorably on fat people. If you are tired of being fat, if your health is at risk, if you are miserable, then it's time to change. If however your health is fine, and you don't mind being fat, tell the world to go screw themselves.
